Return Policy

At Dilmith Technology (Pvt) Ltd., we are committed to delivering high-quality products at competitive prices. We understand that sometimes circumstances may require you to return a purchase, and we aim to make the process as smooth as possible. Please read through our returns policy carefully before proceeding.

1. Change of Mind or Incorrectly Ordered Goods

1.1. Printer Consumables – Cartridges, Waste Bottles, Fuser Units, Belt Units, Filaments (excluding paper products)

If you have changed your mind or ordered the wrong consumables, we can offer a store credit or refund for unused and unopened items. Please note the following conditions:

  • Returns must be made within 15 days from the date of purchase.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Consumables with an expiry date must have at least 6 months of shelf life remaining.
  • A 15% restocking fee applies to all incorrectly ordered or unwanted items.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • The customer is responsible for freight charges and insurance on the returned goods.
  • Please ensure the goods are sent with a tracking number, as we cannot process returns for items not received by us.
  • Goods shipped with ‘receiver to pay’ will be rejected.

1.2. Office Machines – Cables, Scanners, Printers, Monitors, Shredders (excluding large format printers)

If you wish to return an office machine, we offer a store credit or refund for unused and undamaged items, provided the following conditions are met:

  • The item must be returned within 30 days from the purchase date.
  • The product must be in its original condition, unused, and free from any marks or labels.
  • The original packaging, internal accessories, and manuals must be included.
  • A 15% restocking fee will apply to all returns.
  • Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Tracking numbers are required for returns.
  • Goods shipped with ‘receiver to pay’ will be rejected.

1.3. Non-returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned if you change your mind:

  • Hygiene or PPE products (e.g., face masks, gloves)
  • Special price, non-stock, or custom orders
  • Office supplies (e.g., pens, markers, tape)
  • 3D printers, laser engravers, large format printers
  • Clearance products (e.g., demo or refurbished items)
  • Paper products (e.g., copy paper, envelopes)
  • Packaging supplies (e.g., mailing boxes)
  • Televisions
  • Software or downloadable materials

1.4. Other Items

In certain cases, returns will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For these returns, you will need to provide:

  • Clear photos of the product and its condition.
  • All returns must be made within 15 days of purchase.

A 15% restocking fee applies to all returns, and customers are responsible for freight charges and insurance for returns.

2. Faulty Items

We stand behind the quality of our products. If an item is faulty and covered under warranty, you may be eligible for a repair, replacement, credit, or refund, at our discretion. However, we reserve the right to decline claims if:

  • The fault was caused by misuse, neglect, or abnormal use.
  • The product has suffered normal wear and tear.
  • The fault was due to improper assembly or modifications made by you.
  • The product was damaged during your own handling or transportation.

2.1. Genuine Printer Consumables & Office Machines

If you suspect a product is faulty, we recommend contacting the manufacturer first for troubleshooting. If the issue cannot be resolved, please contact us with the following information:

  • Case number provided by the manufacturer.
  • Invoice number from your purchase.
  • Photos or evidence of the fault.
  • Serial number and model number.
  • For printer consumables, please provide a printer report showing remaining life.

We will arrange for the return of faulty items at no cost to you.

2.2. Compatible Printer Consumables & Other Consumables

We do not accept returns for consumable products that are over 12 months old from the invoice date, except where the manufacturer allows for exceptions. To return faulty printer cartridges:

  • The cartridge must be at least 75% full.
  • Empty, expired, or tampered cartridges will not be accepted.
  • Items must be sealed securely to avoid leakage during transport.

We will arrange a return label and collect faulty items at no additional cost to you.

2.3. Software and Downloadable Materials

For issues related to software or digital products, we recommend contacting the service provider directly, as we cannot validate activation codes. Any cancellations must be handled by the service provider.

2.4. All Other Items

For items not listed above, we will assess the situation and offer a solution. Please contact us with as much detail as possible, including photos or videos of the issue.

3. Items Damaged in Transit

Please inspect your items upon delivery. If an item arrives damaged, please report it to us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing us at support@dilmithtech.com with:

  • Photos of the damaged items and packaging.
  • Your invoice number.

We will assist you in processing the claim and arranging a replacement or refund.
